COVID-19 is absolutely impacting our world and our daily lives. It makes sense that people are scared, and that the world is in turmoil. But we are called to act differently than the world.  Let’s use this moment in history to live the word of God, and be the light.

All eyes are on us as leaders, always. We don’t get to pick and choose when we’re a pastor, when were a husband or father, and if we are men or women of God. We’re always in the role. If you’re saying one thing when you preach but then doing the opposite when church members see you in your “normal life,” your credibility will be destroyed. Let’s dive into what it looks like to live out our call!

Jesus says “ Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” The concept of unity within our congregations can be a tricky one. Often, pastors - in a quest to stand strong in our beliefs - inadvertently actually cause division. So what is our responsibility as pastors?

Question: Regardless of our band’s size or skill level, how can we strive for excellence? Answer: Knowing our musical lanes, and sitting in the “pocket”. Let’s dive into defining what THAT means for each instrument, and how sticking to “our role” helps bring out the band’s full potential.
